Legend has it that the Bennington Flag was the flag under which the Green Mountain Boys defeated Colonel Baum and his Hessians at the Battle of Bennington during the Revolutionary War. The Bennington Flag features 13 stripes 13 stars, and the number 76 in honor of the year our Declaration of Independence was signed.

The back of each flag is covered in black felt and has d-rings installed for hanging.
